788 - The Provision of Traffic Control Equipment Maintenance and Related Services

This public procurement competition relates to Traffic Control Equipment Maintenance and Related Services. South Dublin County Council wishes to appoint suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide traffic control equipment maintenance and related services in the County for a maintenance period of three years. The services to be provided comprise: a) traffic control equipment maintenance services including replacement of failed bulbs/fluorescent tubes, light emitting diodes; and b) minor works using the Schedule of Rates for Minor Works including when appropriate provision of appropriate civil engineering support including traffic management c) repairs of faults in or to traffic signal equipment: d) management of power supply fault rectification; e) routine checking and inspection of installations; f) undertaking the roles of Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS.) and Temporary Traffic Management Operator (TMMO) or nominating suitably qualified and competent persons to the role of PSCS and TMMO; and g) other services including chargeable works.
