RPA7340 - Luas Advertising Contract

The Luas system contains a substantial number of static and mobile advertising sites both potential and realised. RPA is seeking an advertising contractor to manage the existing sites and to develop new opportunities in order to exploit the maximum revenue return to RPA. The static advertising sites include, but are not limited to: • Advertising columns at stops o Luas Green Line – 22 Stops – 40 Columns o Luas Red Line – 32 Stops – 57 Columns • Stop light boxes x 3 The mobile advertising sites include, but are not limited to: • Tram wraps (full and partial) – currently a maximum of 3 on each of the Luas Red and Green Lines • Tram dominations • Internal tram straplines • Internal tram portrait panels • Internal tram skylines • Internal tram floor panels There is scope for further opportunities to be explored. Consultation meetings will be held with the shortlisted Candidates prior to the commencement of the tender period. There may also be network enhancements during the term of the contract which may enhance the commercial advertising portfolio. RPA would welcome investment proposals from Tenderers to upgrade advertising sites to modern/digital formats during the term of the contract. The contract duration is for a minimum of 5 years with an option to extend for a period of up to an additional 5 years. The duration will be at RPA's discretion.
