The EPA's Office of Environemtnal Enforcement is inviting suitably qualified individuals and/or organisations to tender for the carrying out of air emissions monitoring at selected EPA licensed sites. The specification of work described below (section 4 of main tender document) sets out the scope of work to be carried out by the successful tenderer.
A key part of being considered to be ‘suitably qualified’ is adherence to the EPA’s air monitoring policy. Please read .
Candidates must be accredited to the ISO17025 standard (including relevant requirements of CEN/TS 15675 and IS EN 15259) and the scope of accreditation held must include the following parameters:
Total particulates (low and high range), NOX, SO2, CO, VOC (by FID), dioxins, velocity and temperature, oxygen, and moisture, HCl, formaldehyde, metals, and speciated organics.
Therefore your organisation must be fully accredited to the above criteria (standards and parameters) by 1st of January 2015 and should, at the time of submitting the tender, (if not already accredited) be at least well-on-track to attaining this full accreditation.
