RFT No 2014/1035 - Central, Disaster Recovery and Remote Site Firewalls.

The Houses of the Oireachtas Service, a body corporate, (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”), acting on behalf of the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (hereinafter referred to as “the Contracting Authority”), invites proposals from interested parties for the provision of central, disaster recovery and remote site firewalls. A detailed specification of requirements is set out in Part 2. The Contracting Authority currently utilise Juniper firewalls to provide Central Firewall and remote access services for its end users and requires a replacement solution to meet the existing and future requirements of its end users. The Contracting Authority is seeking a solution which is easy to install, maintain and manage on an ongoing basis. Remote firewalls will be delivered to the Headquarters of the Contracting Authority who will manage a rollout to remote offices.
