Irish Water is undertaking the Cork Lower Harbour Main Drainage Scheme to provide wastewater collection storage and treatment for the catchment area which includes the towns of Cobh, Passage West, Monkstown, Ringaskiddy, and Carrigaline and adjoining areas. The project is divided into several contracts, the contract described herein is for the provision, trenchless laying and testing of 2 no. new 400mm diameter nominal bore, 1400m long gravity sewer pipes beneath a 1km wide body of open tidal water. A pre-qualification questionnaire will be issued to all candidates who forward an Expression of interest and send via email for the attention of The Shared Services Procurement Manager to rahern@bge.ie The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 17.00hrs Monday 29th September 2014.
