003 - Smartply seeks expressions of interest for the Engineering Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Fire Protection Systems

The general scope required is all inclusive for the detailed design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems for SmartPly Renewal Project. The candidates must confirm they have the resources and capability to Design to FM, NFPA and VDE Standards. 1) Sprinkler system and hose reels to building extension of 10,000 m2 approx. 2) Sprinkler system under new production line equipment and associated hosereels (800m2 approx). 3) Modification/extension to existing ductile iron water main (Typically Ø250mm), including relocating & installation of new hydrants, post – valves, alarm valves etc. 4) Modifications to existing pumping station, if necessary. 5) FM200 Fire suppression to Control Room and Switch/MCC Rooms 6) Design & provide water supply 50m to Press Fog Extinguisher System (by others) 7) Design & provide water supplies to Process Equipment spark extinguish systems (by others) 8) Design & provide water supplies to deluge water systems(by others) 9) Scope to include frost protection, if necessary. 10) Design to include for valve rooms to service all of the above.
