The capital purchase of a Liquid Chromatography-mass Spectrometry System (LC-MS) to provide a comprehensive PAEDIATRIC steroid endocrine service provision with the facility to mesure iohexol and thereby replacing the Cr51 EDTA clearance. To fulfill this remit we need to: Acquire the latest technologies to allow us to be well positioned for current and future developments and have sufficient capacity within the necesssary systems to enable us to analyse and process both our expanding current service provision and allow for the incorporation into the routine practice of additional services in the future for our estimated workload.
