Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is a call to competition by IE for suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process for the proposed tender for the supply of onboard systems and associated works for fitment of the European Train Control System Level 1 to the Irish Rail Train Fleet.
The objectives of the contract are to complete the fitment of ETCS Level 1 Onboard equipment to 159 trains through the development of 6 Heads of Series or First in Class prototype trains, one for each of the existing train types in the IÉ fleet. However, IÉ may seek to develop additional Heads of Series on other train types that may be required through the life of this contract. The scope of the contract will also include all of the necessary National and European Safety Approvals including Authorisation to Place on the Market (APOM) for each Head of Series and conformity to type of an approved vehicle for the remainder of each series.
Can you ensure when responding to the PQQ Questionnaire ( Attached separately Appendices 1-4) that your answers are sufficiently detailed to allow the evaluation team to access the suitability of your responses.
All questions in the PQQ Questionnaire must be answered.

PQQ Returns:
