8110 - Framework Agreement for the Supply of Signalling, Electrical and Telecoms Cable

This is a call to competition by IE for the establishment of a Framework Agreement for the supply of Signalling, Electrical and Telecoms cable

Demand for cable has increased in recent years and it is anticipated that requirements under the new framework agreement will continue to rise in line with the delivery of signalling and telecoms projects and there is now a requirement to renew this contract in advance of the current expiry date.

The agreement will be split into three lots and will include the supply of:

1. Lot 1: Signalling cable
2. Lot 2: Fibre optic cable (singlemode and multimode)
3. Lot 3: Telecoms copper cablefor the railway infrastructure as well as supporting individual construction projects 

Iarnród Éireann proposes to pre-qualify a number of suitably qualified candidates to be appointed to the Framework Agreement in order to participate in mini tender competitions during the term of the Framework Agreement

This Framework Agreement will be for a period of 4 years.   

The closing date for PQQ returns is 12noon Monday 9^th January 2022
