Re: 8129 Sandblasting Maintenance and Equipment for the Chief Engineers Department             

This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of ‘Sandblasting Maintenance and Equipment for the Chief Mechanical Engineers Department in Iarnród Éireann-Irish Rail’(the contract). The purpose of this Tender process is to identify an experienced applicant who can Service, Maintain and Repair all Sandblasting Equipment across six locations in IE’s network.

The Contract the subject of this competition is a contract for three years with an option to extend by a further one year at IE’s discretion, subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract.  The Contract Notice is referred to in Section 3.1 of this PQQ. 

The form of Contract will be issued with the Invitation to Tender (ITT) at the ITT stage of this procurement process, to all Applicants who pre-qualify for the ITT stage of the process, under this PQQ, subject to IE’s decision (in its sole discretion) to proceed to the ITT stage of the competition.

The closing date for PQQ Submissions is for this call off is 12 noon Friday October 28^th 2022.
