To whom it may concern
The purpose of this tender competition is to identify and engage a professional service provider for Architect-led Design Team Services for an Office Fit-Out for the Consulate General of Ireland, Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, Germany.
The Consulate General of Ireland in Frankfurt is currently located in temporary office space. The Consulate General has recently secured a lease for a permanent office, encompassing the full floor of an office tower, located in the Central Business & Banking District of Frankfurt, for providing representational and consular services on behalf of the Irish State.
The Consulate General of Ireland now intends to carry out a works project for a full office fit-out of these premises.
The fit-out requires the highest quality design solution, which will reflect Ireland as a modern nation and with a strong sense of the Consulate General’s purpose to promote Ireland’s foreign policy interests, culture, trade and values in Germany.
Tenderers will be requested to provide a professional service and fee proposal for a full Architect led Design Team Service.
The successfully engaged Architect will be required to coordinate and project manage the Design Team to complete design and procurement of the building works from inception, planning and construction to completion and handover of the project. The professional service provider will be required to develop, administer and coordinate all works contracts on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs within agreed budgets and to certify that the works are completed in full compliance with the design and all statutory obligations as they apply in Frankfurt-am-Main, Hesse, Germany.
