Fully Managed Print Service - Full Print Managed service for SLRON

The St. Luke's Radioation Oncology Network seeks tenders for a Managed Print Service to include the following general conditions: -

  1. The proposed print management solution will:
    • Provide a reliable print/copy/scan solution to meet the needs of the buying Organisation
    • A single, centrally managed server/print queue
    • Include the Installation\Commissioning of proposed equipment, to be completed by Q4, 2022
    • Include routine servicing of the proposed equipment.
    • Supply all consumables (Toners, fuser kits, etc. excluding paper).
  • Provide 2-hour response On-Site maintenance with 4-hour resolution for all equipment, including parts and labour. Equipment will have to be replaced or repaired within 24 hours (during normal working hours) of initial call being logged with the service provider. the buying Organisation reserves the right to impose penalties of 5% of total monthly cost of the service where three support calls have been unsatisfactorily dealt with. Note: unsatisfactory in this instance will mean a machine that remains unusable for more than 24 hours (during normal working hours) after initial incident is logged.
    • the Hospital is committed to ensuring that the accessibility issues relating to the use by those with disabilities of any product or service it procures are adequately addressed.
      1. A detailed implementation plan including the methodology to implement the Manage Print Service.
        • Virtual Server requirements.
        • Software used in the MPS.
        • All additional software\OS licenses and costs if any (Please describe the licencing model i.e. per user or per device).
        • Details of how deployment will be carried out, e.g. how do you propose to connect all users and workstations to the devices?
        • Timeframe/lead time for implementation of MPS.
        • Detailed description of restore procedures for any Virtual Server\Software failure, if applicable.
      2. Tenderers should give details on the acceptance testing that would be carried out, verifying the following:
        • Secure print release to any nominated printer.
        • Integration with special applications e.g. PAS print.
        • Integration with Active Directory.
        • Wireless Printing Service.
        • Guest printing options (i.e. non-domain users).
        • Reporting on usage and costs.

 

  1. The price quoted will be on a cost per mono & colour basis and must cover
    • the capital cost of the equipment and software (licensing) being supplied, and
    • the cost of any services and\or products (e.g. deployment, maintenance, management\monitoring, applications and consumables (excluding paper), offered by the Tenderer as part of the agreement.
