Microsoft licensing services are commonly procured across the Irish public service. Due to the considerable level of expenditure in this area the OGP has decided (in line with its mandate to establish central procurement arrangements) to put in place a national framework to replace the existing national framework (which will expire in 2023). In this regard, the OGP is undertaking a process to review, refresh and combine the current Multi Supplier Framework for the provision of Microsoft Licensing Services which was established under RFT 150530 (Ted Ref: 2019/S 091-219327). The OGP intends to run a competitive procurement process for the establishment of a Multi Supplier Framework for the provision of Microsoft licensing services in early 2023. This will result in the establishment of a Framework Agreement available for use by public sector bodies. As part of this process the OGP wishes to take market soundings to identify market capabilities, supply cost factor and general market dynamics. Our aim is to establish a fit for purpose whole-of-government Framework Agreement for the provision of Microsoft licensing services for the proposed term 2023 to 2027.
