2022/1020 - Market Soundings for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) software for use with live and recorded video and audio feeds.

The Houses of the Oireachtas Service intends to tender soon for the provision of Audio-Visual processing software to primarily assist in the transcription and translation of live and recorded video feeds. The software should have the ability to be extended to or perform cognitive analysis on both feeds to include but not limited to facial recognition, voice recognition, natural language processing, translation, and social interaction. This contact with the market is to determine the nature and capabilities of potential translation software. It is envisaged that the feedback garnered as part of this market sounding will inform the proposed approach the House of the Oireachtas Service will take in tendering for this requirement. This market sounding seeks information from interested parties as to the software available and the capability of a vendor to implement this software in the Houses of the Oireachtas.
