Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is a call to competition by IE for suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process for the proposed tender for the Kent Station Through Platform for the Cork Area Commuter Rail (CACR) Project. (the “Contract”).
The overarching Cork Area Commuter Rail (CACR) programme comprises the heavy rail elements of the Cork Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy (CMATS). The programme objective is to deliver a transformative higher capacity, higher frequency unified through running suburban rail service for citizens within the Cork Metropolitan Area. The primary objective of the CACR programme is to support compact urban growth and contribute to reducing transport congestion and emissions in the Cork Metropolitan Area by enhancing the existing heavy rail system, providing a sustainable, safe, efficient, and integrated public transport service that will improve the attractiveness of rail services.
The overall project related to this Contract is the Kent Station Through Platform;

Vendors are required to complete and return 7972 - PQQ Appendices - (Vendors may submit seperate documents clearly referenced in response to each criteria)
PQQ Returns
Your completed PQQ Submission and all supporting documentation should be uploaded on to the E-tenders Portal not later than 12.00 Noon on Friday 1st July 2022.
