Western Care Association – Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance

Introduction - this is Phase 1 of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) eTender.   

Phase 1 is the creation of a panel of suppliers, Phase 2 will follow later with a tender requesting pricing for various geographical areas.

While you may join this panel at any stage during its lifetime, we recommend joining prior to 5pm, 8th August 2022 as the next round of work allocation will take place shortly thereafter. 

To respond to the eTender:

  1. Please complete the details requested on the TRD (Tender Response Document). To do this, download the TRD document, complete the details, save it on your computer and then ‘Upload file’ onto the eTenders Platform.
  2. Please also complete the ESPD – see following on how to complete the ESPD.

 

Phase 1 - How to Complete the ESPD Response & Questions:

  1. Click on the button marked ‘Manage ESPD Responses’
  2. Click on the ‘Create’ button
  3. Enter a name for your ESPD response in the box for same, then click ‘OK’
  4. Scroll down, press ‘Next’, answer the questions that follow
  5. Click the ‘Finalise’ button on the last page
  6. Click the ‘Back’ button
  7. Click the ‘Done’ button
  8. Click on the ‘Answer Questions’ button and answer the 2 questions
  9. Press the ‘Submit Response’ button.
  10. Ensure you see a message that states “Response successfully sent to the buyer!”

 

Common ESPD Queries:

Q - In relation to the question re 'Procurement reserved' - how should this be answered?

A - It is expected that this is normally answered 'No' unless your business is a sheltered workshop, a 'social business' etc.   To be clear however, it is not a requirement of this tender that any of the foregoing is required.

Q – In relation to the question ‘EO registered’ - how should this be answered?

A – If you are registered on a list of approved economic operators etc, you may indicate this by selecting ‘Yes’, however it is not a requirement of this tender that you need to be so registered.
