Portlaoise Garda Div HQ - Refurbishment of Portlaoise Garda Divisional HQ

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

As you have been shortlisted for the above mentioned project for the Reserved Specialist Mechanical Services Installation Works you are hereby invited to prepare and submit a tender in accordance with the Mechanical Services Installation Works Requirements set out in the enclosed Public Works Contract documentation and Instruction to Tenderers.

 

The closing date for receipt of tenders is dependent on the evaluation of the Main Contract Tenders and the selection of the preferred tenderer, but will not be before 14 March 2023. Detail of the actual closing date will be communicated in due course, at least 14 days prior to that date. The completed Form of Tender and Appendix and requested details must be delivered in PDF format by not later than 12 noon on that date, via eTenders.

 

Tender Submission

  • All Pricing Documents must be fully completed, signed and dated. The pricing document should also be enclosed and identified as such, separate to the rest of your submission.

 

Please note that all documents relating to this competition are available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie ONLY. All communication should be in accordance with the rules contained within the documentation.  The supplier is requested to carefully read the documentation in relation to format/protocol for questions, response times etc.

 

A site visit is advised and visits are to be scheduled for January 2024. Details to follow early in the New Year. Site visits will be by appointment.

 

The Contracting Authority will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred in preparing a response.  The authority also reserves the right to cancel the procurement at any stage up to formal conclusion of a contract.

 

The Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender. Contractors should note that acceptance of a tender will constitute a binding and enforceable contract.
