2855 - The implementation of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Service (MRI) at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda

To whom it may concern, 

This competition is being conducted by Beaumont Hospital on behalf of RCSI Hospitals. 

The Contracting Authority intends to award a contract for the implementation of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Service (MRI) at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, incorporating the supply and support of magnetic resonance imaging system equipment, the provision of staff and the execution of specific installation and refurbishment works.

In the first instance, a contract will be awarded for the execution of the required works and the supply of the required equipment. Following the handover of the renovated magnetic resonance imaging modular building and the commissioning of the equipment, the successful tenderer will be required to enter into a contract for a duration of six years, incorporating the following elements: 

  • The provision of a comprehensive warranty of at least twelve months in duration;
  • The provision of comprehensive support and maintenance during normal working hours; 
  • The provision of a managed service incorporating all staffing requirements such as radiographers and administrative staff.
