GCC_002_2022 - Invitation to Tender – Contract for Supply & Delivery of Wood Machining & Preparation Tools for Kerry Education & Training Board

On behalf of Kerry Education and Training Board you are invited to Tender for the supply and installation of  Equipment for the new school building at Gaelcholasite Chiarri Tralee 

Kerry Education and Training Board intend to place a contract with the most economically advantageous and compliant tenderer who meets the needs and specifications of the machinery required.

Only tenders meeting the selection criteria and confirmed as valid and responsive to the specifications set out in the RFT document will be evaluated information to allow their tenders to be assessed under each of the awards criteria set out, Responses are required through completion of both the Tender Response Document as well as completed Pricing and Specification File.

The contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous compliant tender taking into account the award criteria and weightings.

The contracting Authority request the tenders must be submitted through e-tenders portal only.

The onus is on the tenderers to ensure that they give sufficient time to respond.

Tenders should be returned clearly marked “Tender for the supply of Wood Preparation Equipment for lot x” on or before 16:00 hours (GMT) on Thursday 14th April 2022.”

In response to this tender all tenders must follow the format of the tender document and respond to each element of the tender document in the order as set out in the RFT. Tenders should produce their response as a SINGLE FILE, if possible, which is clearly labelled, page numbered and indexed, clearly highlighted which LOT they wish to be considered for.

Tenderers must ensure that they give themselves sufficient time to submit all required tender documentation before the tender closing date/time.

It is the responsibility of the tenderer to ensure that their tender is complete and is received by the designated deadline.

Tenders that are received late or via other means will NOT be considered in this public procurement competition,

Tenders shall immediately notify the Contracting Authority should they become aware of any ambiguity, discrepancy, error or omission in the Tender Documents. The contracting Authority will, upon receipt of such notification, issue a clarification via e Tenders in respect of any such ambiguity, discrepancy, error or omission. Such clarification shall then form part of the Tender Documents.
