7730 - Redevelopment of Ceannt Station, Galway.
The Contract the subject of this competition is a one for civil engineering and construction works to Redevelop Ceannt Station, Galway.
As the Station buildings are listed protected, much of the work will involve careful conservation of the existing building fabric therefore particular experience in this area will be essential and should be demonstrated in the response.
To ensure rail and bus services are maintained the works will be undertaken in a number of pre-determined and approved phases. Please note that some phases will have fixed durations with deadline dates that must be achieved to facilitate per-way installation, station and hotel operations.
The site is in Galway city with main vehicular access from Eyre Sq. There is limited space around the proposed site and there is a functioning and busy hotel adjoining, therefore noise levels and working hours will be subject to restrictions
You are invited to submit a response for the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) for Redevelopment of Ceannt Station, Galway for Iarnrod Eireann. IE anticipates that it will, following the PQQ stage of this procurement process, have established a shortlist of pre-qualified Applicants. It is anticipated that the top eight scoring applicants will be invited to the ITT stage. If more than one applicant is tied in eight position they will also be invited.
Applicants will only be scored against the advised Minimum Pass/Fail Criteria and Selection Criteria following the closing date (1200, noon on Wednesday 16th of March 2022) for the receipt of completed pre-qualification questionnaires.
Please note applicants must be in compliance with the requirements of the Minimum Pass/Fail Criteria set out in the PQQ. Applicants not meeting all of the Minimum Pass/Fail Criteria, will be deemed to be non-compliant and thereafter will have their submission withdrawn from the process.
