Please find attached a Request for Tenders for the provision of Services for the registration of bovine births, issuing of bovine passports and processing of notifications in relation to farm-to-farm movements and on-farm deaths under the AIM system for The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine(DAFM).
The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine (the “Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this request for tenders (“RFT”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for the provision of the services as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (the “Services”).
In summary, the Services comprise: A managed service function which will consist of the registration of newly-born bovine animals, the printing and issue of bovine passports for these animals, and the recording of bovine movements and on-farm bovine deaths. Please see Appendix 1 Requirements and Specification for further details.
This public procurement competition (the “Competition”) will be conducted in accordance with the open procedure under the European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016 (Statutory Instrument 284 of 2016) (the “Regulations”).
