The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (“CRU”) is Ireland’s independent energy and water regulator. The CRU was originally established as the Commission for Energy Regulation (“CER”) in 1999. The CRU’s mission is to protect the public interest in Water, Energy and Energy Safety. The work of the CRU impacts every Irish home and business. The sectors we regulate underpin Irish economic competitiveness, investment and growth, while also contribute to our international obligations to address climate change. CRU wishes to appoint a single Managed Service Provider (MSP) under this Services Framework Agreement to deliver all ICT Managed Services including ICT Service Desk, Managed Security Operation Centre Services (SOC-As-A-Service Solution), Optional Dedicated Support Resource(s) and Ad-hoc Professional Service Resources to support the CRU with daily ICT operations and various ICT Projects. The Service Provider must provide all technical support and expertise to manage the CRU’s ICT requirements including infrastructure, systems, applications and services across Level’s 1, 2 and 3. The framework agreement will be for an initial 2 Year Period, with the option to extend by 2 additional 12 Month Periods, up to a maximum of 4 years in total.
