RE: Upgrade of Mallow Swimming Pool, New Road, Mallow, Co. Cork
Cork County Council wish to extend and upgrade the existing Municipal Swimming Pool at New Road, Mallow, Co. Cork to upgrade the fabric of the existing facility, to improve the existing changing facilities and management suite, to provide additional facilities for all patrons and in doing so to upgrade the existing Mechanical and Electrical Services Installations.
Cork County Council requires the services of a competent Architect or Engineer-Led Single Service Provider, Design Team with the appropriate specialist skills and experience for Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of all elements of the works. The successful Single Service Provider (SSP) who will also be nominated as the Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) and Design /Assigned Certifier and will be required to provide the full suite of professional services as outlined for the Design, Tender, Construction and Handover complete of the proposed Mallow Swimming Pool Upgrade at New Road, Mallow, Co. Cork as outlined in Section 5 of this Project Brief.
Cork County Council, Project Technical Team, Municipal Districts Operations & Rural Development will perform the role of Client Representative (CR). Cork County Council requires the Single Service Provider Project Manager/Employers Representative (who will also act as PSDP, Design Certifier, Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier) to procure the services of an Architect, Civil/Structural Engineer, Mechanical/Electrical/Sustainability Engineer and a Quantity Surveyor. The SSP will be expected to form a professional working relationship with all of the relevant disciplines - Consultants, Experts, Cork County Council including the Cork County Council Capital Team - to facilitate delivery of the Mallow Swimming Pool Upgrade development with optimum performance qualities as set out in the brief.
