eCollege is the national online learning service for the further education and training sector funded and overseen by SOLAS. eCollege courses are fully online and are part-time. Courses are aligned to industry certified pathways. Currently all courses operate on a continuous intake basis. The current delivery mechanism for eCollege is the Moodle Learner Management System (LMS) which is maintained by a third-party provider on behalf of SOLAS. The successful tenderer(s) will provide the following services to online eCollege learners across the Lot or Lots for which they are the provider: 1. Tutor support services based on pedagogical good practice for online learning to foster learner engagement, motivation, and success. 2. Course and learning design services including structuring content, identifying appropriate resources & content, ongoing curation of content, designing ongoing formative assessments, designing learning aids, structuring feedback, and satisfaction capture points, designing peer/social/project/task-based learning opportunities 3. Administrative support services including providing pre-course and public information, maintaining public facing communications including Moodle and website, resolving queries, supporting learners, recording progress/outcomes/certifications, resolving post-course queries, gathering feedback, and gathering information for insight, quality assurance, and reporting 4. Technical support services including logging, resolving, or escalating courseware and Moodle access issues. The 4 lots are: Lot 1: Computer Programming & Databases + IT Professional + Web & Graphic Design Lot 2: Office Productivity, Digital Skills for Life and Work, Business, Leadership and Management Lot 3: Green Skills Lot 4: Other Emerging Skills
