The Contracting Authority, DAFM, is seeking a provider to design, develop and deliver online e-learning content for 5 courses covering key priority areas. The online e-learning content must be compatible to be uploaded onto an existing cloud-based training platform. The online e-learning content must cover the 5 key priority areas, i.e. Climate Change, Biodiversity Conservation, Farm Health & Safety, Soil Health & Quality Assessment and Water Quality. Each course should consider the need to develop the Irish Agricultural Knowledge & Innovation System by including the following cross-cutting elements: a. Highlighting key research and innovation in each of the module areas. b. Identifying key elements that should be considered by Advisors for Knowledge Transfer facilitation from research and demonstration c. Introducing the Advisor to the concept of ‘interactive innovation’ and the advisors role as an innovation broker linking farmers to research, farm demonstration such as the Teagasc Signpost Farm Series and innovation opportunities. Each of the 5 training courses will be equivalent to a half day i.e. at least 2.5 - 3 hours per course (excluding the assessment). The online e-learning course content must also include an assessment before and after each key priority area to determine and assess the knowledge and skills acquired during the training and to assess if the participant has acquired sufficient knowledge e.g. provide multiple choice questions, scoring sheet and pass mark.
