7802 - Provision of Personal Protective Equipment
This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail for the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment “PPE”.
Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail is the state owned railway operating and rail infrastructure company. We have a staff of circa 3,500 and have an ongoing requirement to supply PPE to these staff. Staff operate in a variety of roles such as trackside, port operations, depot operations and on board staff. The requirements are broadly broken down into the following areas, these lots will be used in this tender process and awards may be made to one or more contractors:
Lot 1: Footwear – Steel Toecaps
Lot 2: Footwear – Composite Toecaps
Lot 3: Rainwear
Lot 4: Gloves
Lot 5: Standard Workwear
Lot 6: Specialised Workwear (welding, electrical, chainsaw and similar engineering works)
Lot 7: Hi Vis Workwear (includes GO/RT 3279 Railway standard compliant)
Lot 8: General PPE (Eye, ear, head protection, etc)
Further details are available in the Pre-Qualification document published with this Notice – please note at pre-qualification stage there is only the 1 Pre-Qualification document irrespective of how many lots to be applied for. This document is uploaded to the Lot 1 folder but should be referred to and completed if applying for any or all lots.

Closing date for PQQ retursn is 12.00 noon Wednesday 10th November 2021 - Documents must be fully uploaded prior to the closing time so please allow sufficient time to upload before this time.
