2826 - The Provision of VMWare Virtualisation Software and Associated Reseller Services

Dear Tenderer,

The Contracting Authority intends to award a contract to a suitably qualified and experienced economic operator for the provision of ICT consultancy services in respect of the Hospital’s virtual infrastructure.  In the first instance, a contract of three years’ duration will be entered into with the successful tenderer for the provision of ICT consultancy and support services in respect of the Hospital’s virtual infrastructure. Thereafter, and solely at the discretion of the Contracting Authority, the contract may be extended for two further periods, each of twelve months in duration, giving a maximum potential duration of five years.

Deadline for receipt of submissions is 04/08/2021 at 12:00 noon and deadline for clarifications is 17:00 p.m. 23/07/2021.

On the grounds of urgency, and in accordance with Article 27.3 of Directive 2014/24/EU, the Contracting Authority is availing of shortened timescales in respect of this competition.  The urgency associated with this requirement arises from the fact that the required services will be used in an acute hospital setting. On the grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in respect of this competition.
