The Dublin City Public Art Programme is a programmatic approach to public art by Dublin City Council, first launched in 2012. This second Dublin City Public Art Programme will be in place for five years and will offer opportunities across all art forms as defined in the Arts Act 2003; architecture, dance, film, literature, music, opera, poetry, street art, street spectacle and circus, theatre, verbal arts, and visual art; including all aspects of contemporary arts practice such as performance, live art, multimedia, video art, sound art, etc. This notice while providing information about the Dublin City Public Art Programme is also a call for submissions. Any contracts awarded as a result of this notice will be awarded under Article 32 of the Public Procurement Directives 2014/24/EU. Please see the attached document for all details in relation to the Programme including, but not limited to: Commissioning & Selection Process, Terms & Conditions, Closing Deadlines, etc. All queries in relation to the Programme must be submitted by email to the Public Art Officer at the following email address- publicart@dublincity.ie. A briefing meeting will take place for interested artists, curators, creative producers and artistic directors. A question and answer session will form an important part of this meeting. The meeting will take place ONLINE on Tuesday 20th July 2021 at 1.00 pm. See the attached document for further detail.
