7626 : SUPPLY OF STANDARD, BESPOKE AND SAFETY CRITICAL ENGINEERING FASTENERS
IÉ recently concluded a market consultation with companies experienced in the field of the Supply of Fasteners for use on rolling stock. The objective of the market consultation was to gain an insight into the current market of the Supply of Fasteners available for Rolling Stock and what type of solutions were available. This market consultation was facilitated by the advertisement of a Prior Information Notice [PIN] via eTenders, following which IÉ received a number of high-quality submissions from market leaders in the supply of fasteners.
Scope of Works: Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) operate a number of rolling stock fleets, for which standard and bespoke engineering fasteners are used to cover all running maintenance and heavy maintenance activities at all of its rolling stock maintenance facilities nationwide. The rolling stock maintenance facilities are located in Inchicore and Fairview (Dublin), Limerick, Cork, Drogheda and Portlaoise. IÉ now invites suitably qualified companies to participate in a tender process for the Supply of Standard, Bespoke and Safety Critical Fasteners into the Rail Industry.
The supply agreement will cover the supply of standard, bespoke and safety critical fasteners in various quantities and to numerous IÉ locations nationwide, IÉ intends to advertise this tender in individual lots [see lot details below]:

IÉ is now inviting applicants for the Pre-Qualification Stage of this 2 stage process.
Stage 1: To be considered for inclusion to the shortlist of companies who will be issued with ITT documentation, you are required to include all relevant information required as part of this notice. Companies will be measured and scored in line with the advertised selection criteria.
Stage 2: A shortlist of companies will be provided with ITT documentation.
