2817 - The Supply, Installation, Commissioning Support and Maintenance of a Duplex Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment System

 To whom it may concern,

The Contracting Authority requires the design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of a duplex reverse osmosis system for use with eight washer / disinfectors in its Central Sterile Supplies Department at Beaumont Hospital.

Following the expiry of a warranty period of twelve months’ duration, a contract for the support and maintenance of the equipment of four years’ duration will be awarded. The Contracting Authority reserves the right, upon the expiry of this four-year contract, to award subsequent contracts governing the support and maintenance of the equipment, each of twelve months in duration, until the obsolescence of the tendered equipment.

In accordance with Article 27.3 of Directive 2014/24/EU, the Contracting Authority is availing of shortened timescales in respect of this competition. The urgency associated with this requirement arises from the fact that the required equipment will be used in an acute hospital setting. On grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in respect of this competition.
