SSB043F - Request for Information (RFI) for Provision of Filing and Management of Intellectual Property Rights (to include Patents, Designs and Trade Marks) to the Irish Public Sector
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather market information on the provision of Filing and Management of Intellectual Property Rights (to include Patents, Designs and Trade Marks) to the Irish Public Sector.
The Office of Government Procurement (OGP) intends to run a competitive process for the provision of Patents Filing and Management Services and potentially services related to Designs and Trade Marks in 2021. This may result in the establishment of one or more Frameworks available for use by Public Sector bodies (including Universities and Institutes of Technology’s).
As part of the process, the OGP wishes to take soundings from the market as to it capacity to meet the aggregated demand for Patents, Designs and Trade Marks Filing and Management Services across all Public Sector bodies.
Please note that this is not a competition and we are not seeking tenders at this stage. It is purely an information gathering exercise seeking the views of market operators on possible approaches for service delivery.
