7740 - LiDAR Survey for Irish Rail

Iarnrod Eireann is currently seeking the services of a suitably experienced contractor to under a LiDAR Aerial Surevy along its entire network approximately 1100 miles of track
We propose to pre-qualify a number of suitably qualified candidates to participate in this tender process.
The purpose of this LiDAR Aerial Survey is to capture every track asset within a sepecified survey corridor, capturing the height and slope of our cutting and embankment. The survey needs to be undertaken between Oct-Mar when vegetation growth is low.
We will require multiple aircraft passes to capture the oblique imagery of our railway lines and our track assets in both directions. It is also envisaged that 100 TB of survey data will be captured during the survey, we require a contractor that can deliver the processed data in a timely manner.
The Closing Date is 12 noon on the 31st May 2021.
