Galway City Council are inviting Tenders for The Provision of Maintenance Services in accordance with following Specification and accompanying documents.The successful Tenderer will be expected to provide the Service for a period of three years from 1st July 2021 with a plus one year, plus one year option to be mutually agreed in writing prior to the end of each term for all six locations. The potential lifetime contract value is approximately in excess of €0.6 Million over the full three year term with potential two years added separately with Galway City Council looking. The contract consists of automated public conveniences in six locations throughout Galway City. It is the intention of Galway City Council to appoint a single service provider for all APC units . The contract requires bi-annual inspection by the Client with upgrade of the systems to be undertaken on their request. The Contractor is to include cost prices and rates for the replacement of all equipment in the APC’s to facilitate these works. Refer to the Schedule of Materials for full list of APC unit components. The contract requires monthly reporting on a template supplied by the Client which will include but not be limited to: record of number of daily visits to each unit by a member of the public, cash collected, date and time of daily cleaning, incidents, repairs etc.
