INVITATION TO TENDER FOR A MULTI PARTY FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF LIBRARY FURNITURE

Dublin City Council, Library Services, proposes to establish a Multi-Party Framework Agreement for 2 years, for the Supply and Delivery of Library Furniture. Dublin City Council Libraries reserves the right, at its discretion, to extend the Term for a period or periods of up to Twelve (12) months with a maximum of Two (2) such extension or extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Dublin City Council’s obligations at law. The Term will not exceed four (4) years in aggregate. The requirements will include the provision of library shelving, library furniture and bespoke furniture to offer full library solutions. Some element of complimenting of existing furniture will also be required. The framework requires the highest quality of furniture product service and the appointed framework tenderer’s will be expected to negotiate the best possible price for materials on behalf of the client. It is expected that the successful tenderer(s) will make every effort to ensure that matters relating to the supply of materials are dealt with speedily and efficiently throughout the contract period. Dublin City Council, Library Services estimates that the aggregate expenditure on the Goods to be covered by the proposed Framework Agreement may amount to some €440,000 (excl. VAT) over the Term and any possible extensions. Tenderers must understand that this figure is an estimate only based on current and future expected need. Tenderers should note that there is no guaranteed level of expenditure under this Agreement and the Framework Clients shall be under no obligation to purchase any minimum value of Supplies / Furniture under this Framework Agreement.
