Ref: 7566 - The Supply of reusable face barrier type masks

Iarnród Éireann (IE) – Irish Rail is running this procurement process on behalf of all the CIE operating companies, Transdev (Luas) and the National Transport Authority (NTA).  Iarnród Éireann invites all economic operators who have experience in manufacturing and distribution of specially constructed barrier face mask which will be used by all employees in the performance of their duties. Please not Surgical Masks are not deemed suitable for this tender and therefore will not be considered.

Economic Operators wishing to partake in this process must complete the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire in its entirety and when referencing Relevant Experience must give demonstrable evidence of manufacturing & Distribution of:

Reusable barrier face mask having at minimum three (3) layers

·       Flat fold to comfortably fit nose, cheeks, and chin

·       Properly secured to the rear of the head or behind the ears

·       A the minimum Q factor of 3

·       Durable to be multi washed at temperatures of 60 degrees

Fu    Full technical details will be issued to those applicants who are successful in being shortlisted and Invited to Tender.

This competition is a 2 stage process being conducted under the negotiated procedure.

Stage 1: To be considered for inclusion to the shortlist of companies who will be issued with ITT documentation, you are required to upload onto e-tenders all relevant information/documents required as part of this notice along with your completed PQQ questionnaire. Companies will be measured and scored in line with the advertised selection criteria. 

Stage 2: A shortlist of companies will be provided with ITT documentation via e-tenders.
