2778 - Contract for the Provision of Electrosurgical Generators

To whom it may concern,

Beaumont Hospital intends to award a contract for the provision of electrosurgical generators on a managed equipment basis, whereby the successful tenderer will be remunerated for the provision of the required equipment through the purchase of a specified number of consumables.

At all points during the three year managed equipment service contract, ownership of the equipment in question will remain with the successful tenderer.

Following the expiry of the initial three year managed equipment service contract, title to the equipment shall pass to the Contracting Authority. As a recurring option that may be availed of solely at the discretion of the Contracting Authority, seven subsequent one-year contracts for the support and maintenance of the equipment in question and the provision of related consumables may be awarded. The maximum potential duration of the contract is therefore ten years.
