7499 - Mast & Tower Maintenance & Inspection Services and GSM-R Rigging & Cabling Services
This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of Mast & Tower Maintenance, Inspection, Rigging & Cabling Services to the masts and towers installed nationwide as part of IE’s telecommunications network (the “Contract”).
It is the responsibility of IE to maintain a record of the masts and towers including all associated equipment and to certify that they are structurally sound and safe to climb. IE wishes to engage the services of a contractor to carry out regular inspections and necessary maintenance on the masts and towers. There is also a requirement to carry out rigging and testing and provide certification in respect of the installation of GSM-R antennas and feeder cables on new and existing tower infrastructure throughout the network.Services will be performed on an "as required" basis, nationwide over a period of 5 years.
