7450 - Supply and Delivery of Electrical Consumables

This is a call to competition for Iarnród Eireann for an electrical supplier / wholesaler to supply electrical consumables nationwide.

 

IÉ has grouped the consumables into the following categories:

·        Cable & Accessories

·        Cable Management

·        Lamps and Tubes

·        Lighting

·        Switchgear

·        Industrial Controls

·        Wiring Accessories

 

Under this Contract, the Supplier will be required to:

1.    Supply and deliver electrical consumables to locations throughout the IÉ rail network including but not limited to depots in Dublin, Drogheda, Cork and Limerick, Rosslare Europort, DART depots and also 147 stations nationwide.  See map attached in Appendix A.

2.    Meet IÉ business requirements including next day delivery where required.

3.  Provide a service for collection of materials from the Supplier’s premises. IÉ may have requirements for additional consumable types (non- stocked items) which will be required to be delivered to IÉ in a timely manner.

 

The closing date and time for PQQ returns including supporting documentation is Tuesday 14th April at 12noon through the etenders portal.
