Dear Interested Applicant,
This is a call by IE for the establishment of a Single Lot, multi-vendor Framework Agreement for the supply and installation of Lift and Escalators and related services to Irish Rail and the CIE Holding Company. This requirement is being advertised in the Irish Government tendering website (http://www.etenders.gov.ie) on 04th February 2020 and subsequently in the OJEU
The current Iarnród Éireann lift and escalator landscape consists of 132 Lifts and 11 escalators. It is anticipated that this Framework Agreement will be utilised to replace our life expired lift assets.
The information below demonstrates our replacement strategy. It should be noted that, it is our intention is to make a single award annually, based on a tender competition within the qualified members of the Framework Agreement. The successful tenderer will be responsible for delivering the Annual package of work. It should also be noted that you are entitled to rely on the resources of others for the delivery of the overall requirements ( L1 –L4 as described below)
LI: Design, manufacture, installation and commissioning a total of 28 new heavy duty stainless steel electric traction lifts incompliance with current EN, BS and Irish Building regulations over a 5 year period.
L2: Design, manufacture, installation and commissioning a total of 5 No escalators with heavy duty stainless steel units in compliance with EN 115-1 & 2 Safety of Escalators and Moving Walks, BS and current Irish building regulations over a 5 year period.
L3: Design, manufacture, installation and commissioning a total of 58 new open protocol lift control systems in compliance with EN 81-28: 2018, BS and current Irish Building regulations. The re cabling and termination of lift control equipment and sensors utilising IP 65 rated enclosures. The fabrication of protective screens & lift door repairs in compliance with EC Certificate of Conformity Execution Class 2 over a 5 year period.
L4: Design, manufacture, installation and commissioning a total of 484 manual galvanised steel security shutters including galvanised steel support structures in compliance with EC Certificate of Conformity Execution Class 2, HSA Guidelines and current Irish Building regulations over a 5 year period.
