Saint Patrick’s Cathedral is the National Cathedral of the Church of Ireland. It is primarily a place of worship and is a registered charity (CHY848). The Cathedral attracts over half a million visitors a year, most of whom are asked to pay a small admission fee. Saint Patrick’s endeavours to provide interpretative tools in order to help contextualise the Cathedral’s life and history for its many visitors. To this end, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral is seeking to purchase a stock of audio guides with content in English, Irish, Italian, German, Spanish and French. This should include an adult tour and an English language children’s tour. The audio guides should have the ability to easily add additional languages and tours in the future. This should include an adult and an English language children’s tour. These audio guides will be available either free of charge or for a small additional charge. This service will be aimed primarily at individual visitors. Users will return the audio guide at the end of their visit. The Cathedral is seeking to purchase approximately 350 physical audio guides although this order may change depending on unit price.
