Landscape Architects - Framework for Landscape Architects

Kildare County Council as Contracting Authority, Client, and Employer is seeking to establish a multiparty framework for Landscape Architecture Services for various projects in Kildare. The framework will consist of two lots(see details below). Applicants can submit tenders for one or both lots.

This framework is being established by means of an open procedure. The winning tenderers will be awarded the contract for these initial jobs as contained in this competition and will be awarded a position on the framework for the respective lot(s). The maximum number of tenderers to be admitted to the framework is 10 for each lot. Therefore in addition to the winning tenderer, tenderers  ranked 2 to 10 (max), whilst not winning the initial contract, will be admitted to the framework listing. Thereafter work will be awarded on the basis of mini-competitions for various works accross this county.

Lot 1 - Landscape Architecture Services for projects with estimated construction costs of >€500k. The initial competition to establish this will be based on developing a masterplan for 38 acres in Sallins. This will also require the Lead Landscape Architect to provide other specialist services for the projects. See tender documents for full details.

Lot 2 Landscape Architecture Services for projects with estimated construction costs of <€500k. The initial competition to establish this will be based on developing a landscaping proposal for Caragh Court Roundabout, Naas.  Projects which may form part of future mini tender competitions under this lot are the design of roundabouts, open spaces, community & sensory gardens, playground and natural play spaces design and landscaping projects within towns and villages in Kildare. Another area will be to assist with the preparation of design guidelines and standards relating to open space design and playground design.

Closing date for receipt of tenders is Tuesday 8th October 2019 at 12 midday. All tenders must be submitted electronically.
