The Department wishes to procure global security and medical advice and assistance for the Department, its officers and their eligible dependents before and during travel to and/or relocation abroad, and particularly to countries or regions where particular risks to their safety and security may be present or have the potential to arise. The service provider should have a proven track record of providing security and/or medical advice and assistance, and should have a global network of assistance centres staffed by medical doctors and other licensed and skilled medical professionals, and/or experienced security experts who are familiar with the region they cover. The service provider should have well-developed networks of vetted local service providers, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected states, capable of providing logistics, security advice and assistance, medical advice and assistance, including evacuation at short notice as required.
