This tender exercise aims to establish a single-party agreement for the provision of Integrated Design Team services to support the delivery of the design and development of City Block 19, Grand Canal, Dublin. The contracting authority is holding a competition to select an architect led design team to both design and obtain planning for the development (CWMF Stages I – II (ii) Design. The contracting authority also requires an option to instruct or require further services for CWMF Stage (iii) Tender and CWMF Stages IV & V if required by the contracting authority). The agreement will be established with a single economic operator. The procurement process seeks to procure a competent Integrated Design team to assist Waterways Ireland with the design and development of City Block 19, Grand Canal, Dublin. The Integrated Design team should reflect the scale and complexity of the development that is to be carried out and the activity to be evaluated, including the degree of specialist input consistent with the nature of the project. Following planning permission being secured, Waterways Ireland may exercise the option to avail of ongoing advisory services for the duration of the project to assist with the appointment of a delivery partner/developer and/or administer the Project Agreement. It is expected that the successful Integrated Design team may be required to have experience in, or draw on experience from, but not limited to, the following disciplines: (a) Architectural Services (including conservation and planning consultancy services); (b) Quantity Surveying Services; (c) Civil & Structural Engineering Services; (d) Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Services; (e) Fire Safety and Disability Access Consultancy; and (f) Project Supervisor for the Design Process.
