The EPA is awarding a contract for the provision of Technical assistance for the 4th round of noise mapping. The Round 4 noise mapping process is a 5-year process covering the period from 2019–2023. The EPA in conjunction with our appointed technical consultant will work with the relevant Noise Mapping Bodies to complete various tasks that will arise during the Round 4 noise mapping process such as: undertaking a review of the Round 3 noise maps; reporting the Round 4 extents; completing a Round 4 revision of strategic noise maps using the new CNOSSOS methodology; reviewing the methodology for exposure assessment; & the delivery of strategic noise maps and action plans. The tender is divided into two phases to cover this 5-year period. • Phase 1; To cover the period from June 2019 – 2022 (June). • Phase 2; To cover the period from June 2022 – 2024 (June).

The Round 4 noise mapping process is a 5-year process covering the period from 2019–2023. The EPA intends to award two consecutive contracts over this 5-year period for the provision of Technical assistance for the 4th round of noise mapping. The EPA in conjunction with our appointed technical consultants will work with the relevant stakeholders to complete various tasks that will arise during the Round 4 noise mapping process.
The EPA is using the Tender Post-box facility on eTenders for submission of tenders. All tender documentation must be uploaded in accordance with the instructions provided on eTenders, prior to the deadline stated above. Tender responses where possible should be uploaded as a single PDF document. Where excess size does not permit the uploading of a single document, tenderers may split their response into two or more documents.
