7239 - Supply & Delivery of Traction Gel Applicator Machines
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process for the proposed tender for the Static Line Side Traction Gel Applicators.
The units required must:
· Be DC capable (supplied with solar panels),
· Have traction gel application via a peristaltic pumping device
· Have a minimum reservoir of 70 litres.
· be suitable for mounting on flatbottom 54kg, 60kg, UIC33 & bullhead rails, without the requirement for rail drilling.
· be secure, lockable, vandalproof and weatherproof
· have documented approval for use with Lawrence U5 traction gel or Alleviate traction gel
· have a current “Approval for Use” certificate for at least one European high speed rail network (>200kmph), detailing the type of unit approved, the date of approval and any other supporting documentation. This certificate should be in the English language.
The respondent must provide confirmation that the above minimum specification can be met & details of the particular units proposed must also be supplied (including dimensional details).
IE intend to enter into a three year fixed price agreement with the option to extend for up to two additional years.
Delivery is to Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire attached to thi snotice must be fully completed and returned as directed.
