EPA AQ Enclosure Framework - Provision and installation of weatherproof enclosures (fixed mounted and mobile trailer) for housing instrumentation used to measure ambient air quality.

The EPA is responsible for the implementation of all Irish and EU ambient air quality legislation and is currently establishing a new national ambient air quality monitoring programme which will strengthen the capacity of the network to provide comprehensive air quality and public health information at both national and local levels. The EPA is also the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for ambient air monitoring for Ireland, manages the ambient air quality monitoring network and is responsible for all reporting to stakeholders – which include the public and the EU.
