7215 Framework Agreement for the Supply of Signalling, Electrical and Telecoms Cable.
This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of the establishment of a multiparty Framework Agreement for the Supply of Signalling, Electrical and Telecoms Cable. (the “Contract”). RFT 146261.
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the supply of Signalling, Electrical and Telecoms cable. In 2016, IE established a Framework Agreement for the supply of Signalling, Electrical and Telecoms Cable. The term of this agreement was 4 years. However, due to greater than planned consumption levels under the existing contract and the expected volumes noted in the OJEU notice, there is now a requirement to renew this contract in advance of the current expiry date.
The agreement will include the supply of signalling cable, fibre optic cable (singlemode and multimode) and telecoms copper cable.
The agreement will be split into three lots and will include the supply of:
Lot 1: Signalling cable
Lot 2: Fibre optic cable (singlemode and multimode)
Lot 3: Telecoms copper cable
A full technical specification, which covers all cable types will be issued to pre qualified candidates who are invited to tender for appointment to the framework agreement.
The Contract the subject of this competition is a contract for 4 years with an option to extend by 1 year at IE’s discretion, subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract].
