Dear Sir or Madam,

Further to your recent pre-qualification submission for the above, I confirm that you have successfully qualified for inclusion on the tender list and accordingly on behalf of Iarnród Éireann we invite you to submit a tender for 7161 Manufacture and Supply of Level Crossing Signage in accordance with the following documents:-

All enquiries should be sent to Deirdre O’Riordan through the messaging facility on the eTenders platform and contract notice.

Tenderers are reminded to read the documents carefully and ensure that all required information is submitted when submitting your tender.

I wish to draw your attention to the following specific requirements of the tender process;

a.       The tender process is being conducted under the negotiated procedure.

            b.      Please note Schedule A Conditions of Contract A14 and Schedule E Form of Advance Payment Bond is not applicable to this tender.

            c.       Schedule A Conditions of Contract A6 Supply of Services and Supplier’s Obligations (10) is not applicable to this tender.

           d.      Schedule B Contract Extension is not applicable to this tender.

           e.      Section C8 Intellectual Property is not applicable to this tender.

In relation to your pricing, Tenderers are required to complete the attached detailed pricing schedule to support their overall submission. Once completed, the final tender sum should be carried over to the tender form contained within the conditions of tendering.

In relation to the tender form contained within the conditions of tender, it is important that your tendered price must be fully inclusive of all charges (but excluding VAT).

To participate in the process, and to confirm that it is your intention to submit a tender, all tenderers are required to submit a completed ‘Tender Acknowledgement’.

Tenders should be completed and uploaded to the tender box facility attached to the contract notice and in accordance with the enclosed conditions of tendering no later than – 12.00 Noon on Thursday 31st January 2019.
