Bus Hire services for Iarnród Éireann –Irish Rail “IE”
This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of a Bus Hire Framework Agreement (the “Contract”). Irish Rail is to establish a Framework of suitably qualified, competent bus / coach operators to provide transport for both bus hire as alternate transport to complement rail services during planned works and in the event of unplanned rail disruption.
The network is divided into eight areas (Lots) and you may indicate which area you are interested in providing services in. Successful applicants will be invited to tender for all planned requirement in an area (Lot) where a service is required, even if the service spans more than one area (Lot).

The questionnaire has six main requirements:
That you have a turnover of €100,000 in each of the last three years.
That you have a Road Passenger Transport Operators Licence
That you have experience in providing bus services.
That you have competent staff and a suitable fleet.
You can provide a method statement outlining how you would undertake a service for IE
You have a Health & safety policy.
