Speech and Language Therapists - Provision of Speech and Language Therapy Support Services for Schools

The National council for Special Education invites tenders for the provision of three senior grade Speech and Language therapists. NCSE support services are delivered through our national network of Special Educational Needs Organisers (SENOs) who interact with parents and schools; a team of Advisors who provide Continuing Professional Development and in-school support to schools in the area of special educational needs; Visiting Teachers who provide support to the children and young people who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Blind/Visually Impaired, their families and teachers, and head office personnel. NCSE support service personnel liaise with the HSE (and other agencies as necessary) to provide support and resources for children with special educational needs. NCSE Speech and Language Therapy Support is a component of the NCSE Support Service. The successful tenderer will be required to work closely with the NCSE to ensure that the work of the senior grade Speech and Language Therapists is incorporated into the overall work plan of the NCSE Support Service. This includes developing, designing and operating a multi-tiered model of support to schools at universal, targeted and intensive levels.
